Not only the protagonist's name, PEARL holds many meaning and association such as the light of the full moon, fruits, wisdoms... the awakening of consciousness. While a black pearl represents tears and sadness, and also the street name for opiates; black pearl. This story is full of twists & turns. PEARL tells a poetic sense of betrayal and deception transcending the shadows of the human psyche. She not only finds herself through her darkest hours but finds how destiny meets her. The Subtle Body
This last year has taken such a tremendous toll on the emotional body leaving residual stuff beneath our skin and in the air from impact and intrusion. Free-falling through uncharted emotions - estranged feelings of dis-comfort, unease, worry - about our future. Upset & hurt. Of things said and unspoken via the domain of fear, threat and survival - leaving unresolved issues. Albeit it frightening blessings arise when pushed beyond such limits - it is here we can somehow open the door of transparency and expand into an ever widening field of awareness. This opportunity - a configuration of body mind spirit, is Divine connection and is where offerings of healings just happen; if open to the opportunities. Yoga for self healing is a unique and non judgmental approach that eases into those tender, vulnerable spots; developing compassion. Deeply soothe for release in body, mind & emotions to be open to opportunities of healing and find a NEW anchoring point within.
Tomorrow’s yoga session at 830am is dedicated to the last Full Moon of 2020. A sensitive phase as She (the keeper of feminine energy in spirituality, referred to as Mother Moon) aligns with the watery sign of Cancer. Attuning to the energy of the Full Moon guides us beyond the swell of emotions into our true core where we can open with compassionate attentiveness while edging-in. An immersion that frees-up the most fragile of feelings, including those hidden ones. The purpose is to let go for a full-on release. This may require forgiveness of one self, or others and taking deep breathes of acceptance for the most tender spots. Breathing old, destructive ways or pure-grief out, tears may be felt in those longing exhales freeing a heavy heart. Our fragmented world.. what impact is this having on you and your communities? It is important to remain calm so we can support each other. It’s from this place of rest we can start to re-create & reform community spirit in ways not yet known to us. This can be difficult to sense, visualise -never mind materialise - when emotions and thoughts are distorted and in a victim state and thrown off balance by loss, confusion, frightened, lack of trust, causing blind reactions. In a time where our future has never been so uncertain let’s journey together through these fragile veils to enter the subtle, inner-world & go beyond senses for healing, balance & especially courage since life continues fragmenting around us. And since none of us have the answers. Yoga & The Subtle Body is an 8 week journey starting Thursday 15th October offering guidance for healing and courage. Through yoga movement, dance, breath-work, blessings, meditations we’ll explore these hidden strengths each week. Expect to: • Step back to see clearer, helping remove blockages. • Recognise sensations of your inner world. • Imbue the infinite power of the heart with pain of the past, of letting go. • Transmute fears into positive actions. • Integrate inner healing to help outer worlds for positivity & creativity. • Commit to regular practise (tuning inward regularly becomes more natural). • Through self healing, become a beacon of light for others. How can we accept life’s imperfections, chaos, disorganisation and destruction? How can we continue and trust as the life we know is collapsing around us? Journey with me tomorrow during Septembers New Moon phase , dissolve survival fears & skepticism to find trust, love and faith while in dark to light transition. As the moons face vanishes into a black mystical space; a portal activating bright beginnings, spiritually, becomes a heightened state. An opportunity for personal growth which NEVER comes without uncertainty & instability. Where we are thrown us off balance we need to breathe deeply to release fears and go beyond layers of confusion to feel, see and be in our hearts. We need to breathe deeply to not let what is happening around us stall or hesitate but step-up and trust - that anything is possible, that miracles are possible. We need to breath deeply to let lighter energies in. Instability & imbalance brings out bad reactions in us - feelings we don't have to stay in. We can shift away from tension, contraction and hostile mood swings to a much higher vibration by focusing on lighter energies. It is especially during this dark phase we focus on love, trust & faith so we can emerge and shine our light as a beacon for others. Keeping away from division and hatred, instead developing more trust, love and faith from the medicine of our hearts.
