City Silent Retreat, London

This one day Silent City Retreat offers a chance to quieten the mind, a powerful technique in itself revealing our truth. In a fast paced lifestyle, especially the busyness of city living, this can distort and confuse our view often causing tensions, feeling dis-satisfied or tired with life thus dis-ease manifests in body mind and emotions. So we will first ease through these layers with direct and simple technqiues, finding more clarity, the true essence of who we really are.

When discovering who you really are there comes about a turn in perspective. So we'll also explore how self healing arises thus recharging body structures and systems while stabilising in presence for harmony and balance, as and when the ineffable reveals itself.
What we will do:

Held and supported in the light and colourful space of Yogaplace E2 we will interplay, from theory to practice, the ancient wisdoms of yoga, meditation, breath-work, deep relaxations and contemplations.

The day in silence will unfold through a sequence of techniques:

Quieting the mind, surrender to the heart

Hatha & Yin Yoga

Pranayama (breath-work) 

Meditations

Yoga Nidra

Reflective space

Journaling


Lunch (not included)

There is an in-house cafe at Jamyang Centre serving conscious food, and refreshments. Please let me know any dietary requirements in advance so this too can be lovingly prepared for you.

This artful guide is designed to turn the mind away from distractions and tune inward with ease, love and support. Not only will you feel more peace and openness but this a perfect opportunity to centre and recharge your spiritual path. Expect to purify, heal, balance and experience wonderment and mysticism.

Based on traditional spiritual principles and visions, this one day immersion is for both beginner and advanced meditators. We’ll increase awareness with a non dual approach through self-enquiry with the intention to live in the very “core” of existence.
